IAADent
INTRODUCING
IAADent is the culmination of decades of education, training, and expertise accumulated from North America, Asia, and Europe. From the beginning, our founding faculty set out to bring the best of dental education and latest evidence and techniques directly to general dentists seeking to advance and enhance their clinical practice.
IAADent was conceived by Dr Kenneth Lee at the turn of the century, and came to fruition with the help of his contemporaries and colleagues. Initial faculty included Professor DS Sohn, Dr Anthony Sved, Dr Cary Fraser, and Dr Jonathan Low.
In 2020, IAADent has become one of the largest providers of independent orthodontic and implant education. We have no sponsors and do not endorse any one brand or product. Our neutral commercial stance and refusal to be commercialised has enabled us to deliver evidence-based and scientific knowledge based on biology, engineering, and strong clinical values. We are not guided by temporary “fads” or commercial interests. Our income is solely from education.
Over the course of the last decade, IAADent has expanded from its foundation courses to include University-accredited diploma courses in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Oral implantology, and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders & Sleep Disturbed Breathing. For those pursuing higher levels of education, IAADent also provides university-based Masters of Dental Science in Oral Implantology, and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics. This vertical integration of education provides a full spectrum of educational needs for the general practitioner. Whether they desire to have a weekend foundation course, university diploma orientated education, or to commit to a masters degree in that topic.
